Of Things Broken

(100 words)

“Archie!”

“Yes, luv.  Is that you just in then?”

“Come here!  What is this piece of shit sitting in the hallway?”

“Now, now luv – ”

“No, I don’t even want to hear it.  You promised.  You agreed to no more junk in this house!”

“It’s not my junk you see luv, it’s -”

“It’s your bloody junk in our bloody house, which makes it our common junk to add to all the other common junk you have stashed in here!”

“It’ll be gone -”

“No, Archie, I’ll be gone.  You won’t hoard me.  I’m done.  I want a divorce.”

  1. “You won’t hoard me.” very strong words. great dialogue. and i couldn’t help but notice the Rocky Horror photo, i loooove that movie 🙂
